Samadhi

 Samadhi.

As we enter into the world of meditation and of yogic explorations, we soon encounter new terms that we may not have heard before.

We hear terms such as "enlightenment" and certainly meditation is closely tied to this term "enlightenment".  As we go into the yogic world of India, then we’ll soon hear terms such as "Samadhi".

My own roots with the experience of meditation go back to when I was 18 years old and I was very fortunate to begin meditation training under the guidance of a real Indian yogi. His name was Mahindra and he was trained by a Swami Satyananda from Monghyr, Bihar. That’s the school he came from and it is recognized in India.

Then he came to Europe which is where I lived at the time being and where I met him.

I soon began the practice of the very traditional hatha yoga, asanas and pranayamas.

He trained me in mantra, kriya and other forms of meditation.

meditation mantra meditation kriya meditation in one world incredibly traditional India based practice and when I say India based I mean to say that, what we have right now which is the yoga studios and all those classes that are available they are strangely completely separated from meditation, from this classical tradition training that I’m referring to ermm its more like an exercise people do yoga asanas yes they do breathing exercise but it ends there maybe we have ? of meditation but meditation is not something that is part of this modern yoga  training that we have yoga education that we have
So when I was engaging in this training  I was 18yrs old very very young what it means is that we had the year 1972. And so I really enjoyed this training tremendously something in my being was really really erm touched something in my being said yes this is exactly what I need I had an incredible connection with this training and naturally because of this passion that began to be activated inside myself I soon found myself practising more and spending more and more time erm with practising what I was learning spending more and more time with asanas I spent more and more time with mantra meditation  I spent more and more time with Kriya Meditation and so by the time I was 20yrs old I was easily spending four to five hours everyday with that.
And so which leads me to talking about something that yes, I wish to explain that a little bit. What I want to talk about is what is the culmination of Meditation the Yogis say meditation itself is not the end, Meditation when we experience flowering of meditation this flowering of meditation does have another name and the yogis in India call this Samadhi.
Samadhi is a flowering of meditation and flowering of Consciousness and when I use the word flowering of Consciousness then the indication here is that our consciousness as it is the Yogi’s consider it merely a potential if you practice meditation with great fervour and great intensity the practice of meditation will lead you to the flowering and will lead you to what the yogi’s call A? Samadhi.
And the first Samadhi experience that I’ve had I was 20yrs old and since that time between then and now I have had many many Samadhi experiences and Samadhi experiences have happened to me in two different ways  and I would like to explain these two different ways. And I would like to explain the two different ways in which I’ve experienced and how I am experiencing Samadhi  in this following way.
When I was 20yrs old I was one evening in our yoga school and it was after 3hours of practising yoga asanas pranayamas mantra meditation and I closed my eyes and went into meditation
And I saw myself focussing on the point at the top of my head and saw myself visualising the flame on top of my head and as I visualised this flame there seemed to be some kind of inner encouragement that I focus on the centre of the flame on top of my head and as I did that I began to hear sounds and began to hear certain movements on the top of my skull as if somebody was crashing? Against the top of my skull there was only me and the empty room. Then I began to feel as if some some my head my skull began to almost split like an egg would split it was a most bizarre and most exotic experience I’ve ever had I felt an electro magnetic pressure on top of my skull and that electro magnetic pressure became incredibly physical it was as if somebody was pushing against my skull with a finger and pressing very hard and it felt that tangible.
So that lasted for about 20 seconds and this pressure became painful actually and then suddenly this pain that I experienced on top of my head it shifted in a completed changed and transformed leading to ? what I call space
It was a strictly? Clear space it was what I would call clear radiant space and that clear radiant space rapidly and rapidly rapidly began to expand and the only way I could explain that would be that rapidly expanding space expanded to a point where it seemed there was infinity.
The infinity was clear radiant space and the clear radiant space was complete silence there was no thoughts whatsoever but there was complete Consciousness. Consciousness was there clear radiant space that was Consciousness. Clear radiant consciousness it was space.
The thing that happened from that point was that at the top of my head into my body seemed to stream an incredible amount of energy of electricity of chi as you may call it, there was electricity streaming into my head into the rest of my body and the electricity was so strong that it felt almost as if I stuck my fingers into an electric outlet and I was getting electrocuted the electricity was so strong that the body didn’t seem capable of being able to tolerate it.
And I had this feeling that if this was to continue I would certainly die, physically die and obviously I haven’t but that was the impression.
So my teacher than, I explained this to my Yogic teacher and he then said that what you have experienced the Yogi’s call Samadhi but we would say this experience of Samadhi you have had was a little bit early and I said well you know it just sort of happened. But he seemed rather happy with the fact that this had happened to me.
So, my experience of Samadhi is two fold, it is through the activation of one of the chakras as I’ve just explained because the top of the head the yogi’s say there is a chakra there are other chakras between the eyebrows the throat in the heart these chakras when they open they become space if you imagine there are points in your body that are latent that are sleeping but the moment when these points become activated the points transform and change into expanding space that’s what a chakra is a chakra is a seed a tiny tiny tiny seed it doesn’t exist to the naked eye and when this seed activates it becomes space and the space when it goes all the way to its final to its full fruition it becomes infinite space, I have experienced this also with the third eye I have experienced this also with the heart
And the experience in different chakras is of a different quality all together as the top chakra when that becomes clear radiant space it is just silent, the Tibetans call it “silence like thunder” I classify it? That is correct. The silence was so enormous that it seemed to it was like thunder filling the entire silence, silence filled the entire universe like thunder.
When you go to the third eye it’s a different experience when you go the heart chakra it’s a different experience.
When the heart chakra opens it is all of a sudden, the empty feeling is space is there also but it has a completely different quality in the hear the quality is like you fell into a pot of honey, its so unbearably sweet, you could die in that moment you wouldn’t care because you are light you cannot die, your body might die but you cannot.
You are this clear radiant space forever you were you are you shall be regardless of what happens, you are this clear radiant space this infinite clear radiant space of Consciousness that is who you are.
You don’t know it because you are asleep when you go for Yogic training you wake up that’s whats called Awakening that’s whats called Enlightenment, you wake up.
In the third eye also is the same thing when the activation starts between the eyebrows then what you will experience as you receive an electro magnetic presence between your eyebrows and this electro magnetic presence becomes stronger and stronger and stronger until it also changes and becomes expanding space the pressure the electro magnetic presence turns into rapidly expanding space. As I mentioned that before on the top of the head
But again the flavour here is different the flavour here is one of luminosity of Joy of theres a presence of unexplainable intelligence, knowing and the same thing as I was saying before happens in the heart except that that clear radiant space becomes infinite space it is all sweet, it is so sweet.
So all these experiences that I have just mentioned they belong to one category of how I have experienced Samadhi. I don’t know if there is more than two categories but I have experienced just two categories the one I just mentioned and then there is another one that doesn’t seem to go directly with these modalities of pressures or expanding space from one of the chakras.
The other one that I experienced that I have experienced to this day is when the Yogis say there is such experience of Anahata Nada, Anahata Nada it is the sound of the heart and the sound of the hear the way I experienced it I suddenly hear an incredibly high pitched whistle in my right ear or my left ear it can change normally its in my right ear usually and so I hear a very very high pitched whistle in my right ear and instantly the moment this whistle sound starts it instantly turns also into expanding space. Its quite different.
That’s the other way and the Yogi’s say when you hear the Anahata Nada then you must focus on that instantly because the Anahata Nada the experience of Anahata Nada is an indication that you are one hair away from Samadhi.
The Yogi’s say that you could hear all kinds of sound you could hear music, you could hear sitar all kinds of different sounds, rushing of water or we talk about that but I personally have never experienced that I have only ever in over 46yrs I’ve only experienced this whistling sound and its always the same, the moment you hear the sound the sound turns into expanding space, just like the chakras  would turn into expanding space except that the point where the expansion starts is the hearing of the sound. The sound becomes expanding space there is absolute no mind and there is no thought.
Samadhi is the experience of no mind.
Your mind is gone, its not there and fascinatingly you are there and you are there much much better. You are infinite space without the mind and that’s why Enlightenment is also called the experience of no mind.
That’s why Bernadette Roberts she used that term, she called it the experience of no mind. The good news is that its not just something that its not just something that happens to Indian Yogi’s the good news is that it can happen perfectly well to western people and that’s very good news indeed.
The Yogi’s say when you hear the Anahata Nada when you hear the sound in your ears, they know that it can change from the right to the left ear and that is known and I can testify to that, they say you must focus, you must drop everything that you’re doing, this is very very important this is an opportunity don’t go and focus elsewhere, close your eyes and focus on the sound,  Anahata Nada means Samadhi is near.
And these are the two ways that I have experienced, two categories of how I have experienced Samadhi.
And I thought today would be a good time to mention this.
And my message to you is, meditate as much as possible, today is my 30th day of meditation, meditating 7hours a day and it’s a very creative way of spending my time and again, meditate as much as possible.
Christ said, “…seeketh the kingdom of God with all your heart…” and what he was saying by that was that nothing else was important.
Whats important is that you go back to the source of your existence, nothing else matters if you think other things are more important then you are diverted as George Harrison says “… you are diverted, you’re corrupted…”.
The Buddha says the same thing, the Buddha said that “…do not stop striving for Enlightenment ever, until its there now this is said by a man who said, “…I’m going to sit under this tree, until I’m Enlightened…” which he did for 49days. He was looking for Enlightenment for 49days.
And Gurdjieff says in order to find Enlightenment you have to engage in superhuman effort, focus.
All three say the same thing, focus, you have to focus, you have to engage in focus and that focus that quest for awakening the quest for enlightenment the quest for Samadhi, once you move into that domain of existence you separate yourself truly from the rest of humanity because most humanity doesn’t care, what are you doing looking for enlightenment, I think you’re crazy.
Christ doesn’t think you’re crazy, Buddha doesn’t think you’re crazy, Gurdjieff doesn’t think you’re crazy, Osho doesn’t think you’re crazy and I don’t think you’re crazy.
Thank you, Good Luck in your endeavours

Awakening is a radical transcending

Excerpt from a radio interview in Paris on 20 December 2014 in Paris on Radio Ici et Maintenant.

Interviewer Laurent Fendt:
"What did you gain as a result of your many years of meditation?"
Andreas: "We do not gain anything. We loose everything. We loose all kinds of negative, emotional attachments. We loose our ability to judge. We loose all the emotional and psychic toxins in our bodies and minds. And the more of the old programs and conditionings we loose, the more peaceful and happy we become.
In the process of meditation we loose many things that make us unhappy. That is my greatest observation. Meditation makes us conscious how we make ourselves miserable and the more conscious we become about all the methods we use to create our misery, we then can stop those methods. That is what meditation does. It shows us how we make ourselves miserable. Then we stop it.
Furthermore, a successful process of meditation will take us beyond the mind. Have you ever heard about the biblical term "Peace beyond understanding?"
What the term really means is the peace of no-mind, the peace that resides beyond the mind activities. A successful process of meditation will take us to a point where the movements of the mind become calmer and calmer. It can bring us to a point that is described in the Yoga Sutras of Patanjali. The Yoga Sutras of Patanjali are the Bible of Yoga. It is a tremendously important book. Anybody who is interested in yoga and meditation should read it. One of the first statements in this book is, "Yoga Chittam Vritti Nirodha."
What does the term "Yoga" mean here? The terms means "Realization of our true nature." This realization, according to the Yoga Sutras, can only happen when the movements of our minds become calm and ultimately reach a complete standstill.
Now some people may say that it sounds like becoming an unconscious vegeatable, but it is not like that. Within the process of yogic effort and meditation, when the mind becomes calm we are absolutely present. We become truly anchored in the Here and Now, as the name of your radio station indicates.
When we arrive completely in the moment, everything stops. We are not in the moment when the mind is running because the mind distracts us. What does the mind do? It takes us either into the past or the future. If the mind process stops, we arrive in the moment. And in that moment we see the truth of what we are.
And that is an extremely shocking insight. It is shocking because it is so vast.
What we learn in this world is to identify with a very, very limited existence. The entire process of the education of the society is to teach us our limited postion in the clockwork of society. We are assigned to be just a little cog, a little wheel. That is what society is telling us. We are taught constantly to identify with the things we cannot do. We are indoctrinated with the belief systems that limit us.
Generally speaking, our mind is an assortment of believes that create an unbelievably limited position for us within an unbelievably vast universe.
A successful process of meditation breaks all those belief systems and enables us to transcend all those belief systems. That is not an intellectual process. An intellectual process again is a process of the mind. We do not shift from the intellectual notion of our limitations to the the intellectual notion of our unlimitedness, in which case we just become a megalomaniac.
What really happens in successful meditation is that the inner space, which is closed in most everybody--- it suddenly opens and expands. And I can only say this is really a shocking experience. Anybody who doesn't say it is shocking has not really experienced it, as far as I am concerned.
It is really shocking because the difference between the event and the previous stream of life experience is so huge.
It is comparable to a birth. In the birth the baby is shocked and the mother is shocked. Everybody is shocked. The birth represents a radical transcendending of the preceding state.
Awakening is a radical transcending. In that radical transcending we realize that we are Children of the Universe. We realize the Universe is ours.
There is a beautiful scene in the movie "Men in black." At one point we see an entire civilization in deposit box in a train station. You probably know those deposit boxes we find at airports or train stations where we can leave suitcases. So in the movie our main characters at one point open such a box and they find an entire society of people living there. The beings that lived in that box believed that being in that box was all that life was all about.
And that is exactly our situation. We think that what we are surrounded by what constitutes our life. We live in an apartment in Paris. We have a family. We have a job. We live life within the confinements of the society that surrounds us and we think, "That's it."
That is "living in the box." And if somebody opens the door to that box, what happens is that you are having an explosion of consiousness. One moment you are a french citizen. The next moment all changes and you realize you are a Citizen of the Universe. That is radical transcending.
The process of meditation can bring that to you. When that happens, everything changes.

Be Kind and Generous

Dharma Radio Show with Andreas Mamet: “Be Kind and Generous”

Paris on 2-20-2015 at Radio Ici Et Maintenant

Interviewer Laurent Fendt:
So what do you think of this story of the frog that is slowly being cooked?

Andreas:
I think it is a very beautiful story, and it is also a very relevant story. Who is the frog? We are the frog.  And we are getting slowly cooked in the unconscious way society is unfolding.  Society is functioning in a way that is completely focused on the outside. Without a soul, we live completely in the material world. We live in the world of things. We are taught that if we acquire things, we will become happy. This is a great lie. It's not true. That is the pot in which we are cooking. We are cooking everyday slowly in this great  lie that if we do this, and this, and this --- then we will become fulfilled. This material achievement, this is our god.  We run after the idea of material success. We believe in that. We are the frog. We slowly die in this pursuit of soulless success. Everyday we are in street running after the image of success.

Albert Einstein understood this very well. Albert Einstein said that it is not a good choice attempting to become a successful man. If you take the time and trouble to read the many statements of Albert Einstein, you will start wondering who this man is. You will discover this man sounds like a mystic, an extremely wise man.

I like to research his statements on the Internet and I have discovered this man is very wise.
He says do not run after becoming a successful person. Instead become a person of value. That's incredibly different, right?

If you look at what the bankers do, for example, they create nothing. There are many other professions that create nothing of real value.  All they do is support the system. They support the Matrix.

And if you want to become really your self, you have to really leave the Matrix. You have to look for existential, true values. What is a true, existential value? It is that which produces joy. If you do something that produces joy in yourself, you become super valuable.

Why? Joy is contagious.  If you put a joyous person in a room, you know he will affect people that are close by.  He will take them right into his joy, or her joy.

Sometime ago I saw the ballet. It was called “The Source”.  The dances were fabulous. Beautiful. The dancers created such beauty on their stage. The entire audience was just in awe. We were all  affected by their joy, their skill, their incredible beauty.  That's existential value.  If you can write a book, sing a song ---that brings value. Create something that makes the world more beautiful. That’s real value.

Create in yourself more joy, more peace, and more happiness. This should be the first project for everyone. Then share it.  That means you have to leave the matrix. And the first way of leaving the matrix is to become conscious.  Question everything. Question what you are doing.  Question what people around you are doing.  Question your own position. Remove yourself from the robot-like behavior that produces nothing.

There's a beautiful saying,  “Who is your friend?  Your friend is the one person who looks at you and can hear the song of your soul.  And if you forget your own soul song, he or she will sing it back to you”.

That's a wonderful definition of friendship.

So stop for a moment and close your eyes.  And listen to your heart, because in your heart, you can hear the song of your own soul.  That song of your own soul will give you direction.  It will tell you what to do and how to live your life.

The American Indians also said, “We live in a world right now where so many people exist without a code to live by. And the generation that lives without a code to live by is truly lost”.

Interviewer Laurent Fendt:  Can you talk about the collective dimension that influences us? There is much information that is available today that helps us to gain consciousness, There are therapies and many things that could help us. Can you talk about that?

A:  Well, there are basically two ways to become conscious.  The one way of becoming conscious, and it's the best way, is by sheer, direct observation.  It is by just stopping still and looking at life with intelligence. We look at life, we look at the universe, and we realize, “Oh, my gosh, this is incredible”.  There's obviously some great intelligence at work, I can see it, I can feel it.

That's what happened to me a long time ago. I looked at life and thought: This is amazing. This is beautiful. There must be a source to that.

And I became super motivated to go into that direction of meeting that source. In a way that's the preferred approach.  You go into the spiritual dimension with that.

Then there's another approach.  Just in case you didn't get the first invitation, the universe has a backup plan for you. The first invitation is very poetic, very subtle, you see.

The universe says, “Hello, here I am, would you like to have a relationship with me, would you like to have a dance with me?  We could play together. We could create something together. What do you think?” That's what the universe whispers to every soul. Then the soul says "yes" or "no."

And the soul who says "no", goes into deep sleep, like a coma. Then the Universe looks at the soul who made that decision and says, “Ah, I gave him a nice invitation, he's not listening. In that case, we have to give him a second invitation.  The Universe gives a second invitation to all the people who don't listen so well.

And you know what that invitation is?  It's suffering.  You know, your life starts going worse and worse. We can call it stress, if you wish. More and more stress.  Nothing seems to work right.  You feel like you are getting hit left to right by life.  Bang, bang, bang.

Then you look at life and say, “Why is this happening to me”?  For instance, if you look at  the movie ”Bruce Almighty." The entire movie was about that.  The movie was with Jim Carey.  I love that movie.  He was constantly asking God, “Why are you doing this to me, why are you doing this to me?”  He was suffering. He went from one suffering to another suffering.
Why?  He was not in alignment with the rest of the universe.  When we are on a path of harmony and alignment with the rest of the universe, happiness and joy is the natural by-product.

In the case of Bruce, he was really like a very unpleasant person. He was not a nice person.  He was a real jerk. He treated everyone in a way that was really not nice. So when you are like that, when you don't treat others the way you would like to be treated, when you have one standard for yourself, and another way for the rest of humanity, then the Universe looks at you and says, “Well, my boy, we are going to have to correct you. I am sorry”.

The universe has one thing in mind for everyone.  It wants us to exist in kindness and harmony.  It wants us to treat others with kindness. Kindness is the great cosmic, common denominator. It's the universal language that we are supposed to learn.

If we are separate from kindness then we are separate from the entire stream of life. Then the universe if going to come knocking on our head, and say “Hey, hey, hey”. The more we don't listen, the harder the universe knocks.  We will experience professional disaster or problems with physical health.    The dimension of relationship may not be happening. Whatever you do, it just seems to be not working. The universe seems to not support us. We have a feeling that the universe is directly and intently sabotaging our personal efforts.

Then we complain. “Why are you doing this to me, oh God, oh, universe?”

The universe is not doing anything.  We break laws every day.  And because we break universal laws every day, the universe is just sending back the bill in the form of unpleasant situations.  We reap the effect of our actions. That's karma.

If we behave without kindness every day, the echo is unkindness.  It's simple.  If we don't support the people that become before us, then the people who come before us are not going to support us. If you want to become happy, why don't you help other people to become happy?  It doesn't take so much.  Sometimes it takes so little,  Just a little gesture, just a little smile. Just a little word of encouragement does miracles ---  ”You know, everything is going to be OK, don't worry.”

Just a simple statement of support helps so much.  A single word.  We can use our words to make somebody feel good. How much does that cost?  It costs nothing. It just requires being rooted in the heart.  It requires remembering that I would like people to treat me well. And if that is the case, I should treat people well. The universe is not going to treat us good, if we don't treat the universe good.

But right now we seem to be in some sort of acceleration. There are different reasons for that. For one thing, we have seven billion people on the planet right now.  That's a lot of people.  And if we are approaching a point of critical mass, meaning that a large number of people live out of alignment with the universe, then we are going to see big challenges to the structures that represent  and support this state of disharmony.

The number one law of the universe is:  Be actively kind.  Really, that is the number one law.  Be kind.  If somebody is suffering, help them to suffer less.  What we have right now is an increasing number of people who live in defiance of that law.

Too many people live in indifference.  This is the worst thing: to ignore somebody, to pretend that a person does not exist.  I find this personally painful.

When a beggar comes into the metro and he is asking for a euro, or 50 cents and everybody looks away… They pretend he doesn't exist. When I see this, I feel sadness and anger. We can always pull twenty cents out of our pocket.  If we give every person who comes before us just a little bit, it can be done. If we give twenty cents, if we spend a few dollars, so what?

You may forget everything that I am saying here on this radio show today. Just remember this: Be kind.  Be generous.  Please, I am begging you. The next person who becomes before you is sad, what could you do?  Do something. This is your family.  These seven billion people--- its your family, baby, its your family.  Don't pretend they don't exist.  That's the most cruel thing.

We are reaching a point of critical mass of too many people that are indifferent to their fellow brother, sister and human being. We ignore and torture animals.  You know all those laboratories where animals are used to test all kinds of perfumes and health products - its cruel. Stop it, please.

The amazing pollution that we put into the planet --- that is cruel toward the earth.  We are reaching a point of critical mass where it becomes obvious that too high of a number of human beings are completely out of alignment with the rest life which proposes kindness as the universal language.

Be kind, be generous and helpful toward other people, to animals, nature, trees and the land.  Let's change, lets wake up.  This is our home and we are destroying it by not being aware, by not being kind, by not being generous, by withholding, by being in fear. ”Oh, if I give 1 or 2 dollars, then tomorrow I won't have enough money for myself…."

Please, this is our family. Wake up.  Please.  Treat people, animals and nature with kindness.

That's why things are beginning to break down. Lack of awareness and empathy.  Why is the financial world going to pieces right now? It is because we have people that have 50, 100 or more trillion dollars. (Yes, I say trillions, because the official billionaire list does not represent actuality. The richest people are not on the list. Their wealth is hidden.)
One percent of humanity controls ninety-nine per cent of the money? Why? Why can't you share, Mr. Rothschild? In America there are billionaires right now who have created a club. They are giving away ninety percent of the money they have. If you gave ninety per cent of 80 billon dollars, you would still have a lot of money to spend.

It is much more than you can spend, Mr. Rothschild. I am speaking to you and to all your friends.  Remember your heart. You have a heart, Mr. Rothschild.  Look at humanity around you.  They're suffering. They have nothing.  There are many people who live from one paycheck to the next. So Mr. Rothschild, please share a little bit. It will make you feel good, Mr. Rothschild.

Mr. Rothschild and all your friends: wake up and have a heart. Use the power you have to make life on this planet more beautiful, more joyous. You don't need trillions of dollars. You have so much money that is not even on the charts, because you have hidden all your money.

You are suffering a great illness. You are ill. Your illness is the incapacity to share. You have no empathy. The lack of empathy is the great illness of your heart.

You are not happy either.  I will tell you a secret.  If you start helping other people, contribute to their happiness and alleviate their suffering, you will alleviate your own suffering Mr. Rothschild. This is my suggestion to you.

In fact, I am not suggesting it.  I am really on my knees. I am begging you.  I am really begging all people who have power and great wealth to start using it to heal humanity and to heal the planet.

Interviewer Laurent Fendt:
Many people may look at the world and in view of the immensity of the global problems may feel helpless like little ants without any true power to make any positive difference.

Andreas:
There are a lot of things that we can do.  The most important thing is that we are not like little ants. It's not true. You don't know your true power. As we look at the world, it is obvious there are many things that are going wrong. It is equally obvious that one person can't take care of all those different situations that require correction.

As you look at things that are wrong, you will note the situations that really irritate you the most and really touch you. The things that trigger the strongest reaction in you, that cause an emotional reaction and awaken your passion--- there you should go and become active. The one thing that you have to stop is being passive. You have to stop. If look at something, and feel this isn't right, then you have to go and make it right.

If for a number of years you have been feeling you really would like to work for Amnesty International, then you should go and do it.  If you want to go and become active to save the trees, then you go do it.  Do something to help the trees in the Amazon.  Do something!  Even if you just go to an organization and help send out letters. That's something.  There are groups and organizations everywhere.

Go and make a stand. Do something. Stop sitting around, doing nothing. If you feel that there is not enough love in the world then go to the Champs Elysee and give free hugs.

It is unacceptable to say, "I can't do anything."

You can even sit at home in your house and start thinking: “Peace on earth. Peace on earth”. If you sit half and hour and think, "Peace on earth," that has enormous, positive effect.

Yet you look at your mind and think your mind is impotent. That's because you have no actual true education about the strength of your mind.

That's another thing that has been going on for a long time on this planet. The people, the elites that govern this planet need you to have just enough information to be a well-functioning wheel in the clockwork of society. They just want you to be educated enough to support society. They don't want you to have any more information, certainly not any kind of information that would make you question, would teach you about the actual realities of how society truly functions and who really is in control. If this would be known to the masses, there would be a planetary revolution and governments would be overthrown world-wide.

The masses are kept intentionally uneducated and the level of education is increasingly going down. One could go so far and say the masses are being dumbed down. This is happening to great extremes in the US.  It's worse in the US than in Europe. One fourth of the people in the United States believe that the sun revolves around the earth.

But the worst thing is, I just read that there are Muslim clerics that are saying the same thing.
They are insisting on it. So there is a certain tendency of putting us back into the middle ages. That's only going to work if the rest of humanity doesn't do anything.

So, I am talking to humanity. I am talking to you all you listeners. Please listen. There's a great saying that says, “Evil grows where good people do nothing.”  For evil to grow it needs the cooperation of the majority of good people to do nothing.  You good people who look at something that is evil and do nothing, you support evil. You become responsible. The moment I know something is wrong, from that moment I become responsible.   If I don't know, that's something else.  But if I know that there is something happening that causes pain to somebody else and I do nothing, then I am in alliance, I am in compliance with evil directly.

There will be a point in time when the Universe will question our decisions. This is called the “Day of Judgment for the Soul.  Then the Universe will look at the soul and say. “When you were in that situation, you knew something was happening that was really evil.  Why did you not do anything about it?”

And to all the people who know, who see, that something is going on that is not okay, why do you keep going on in passivity?  Why do you do nothing?

Interviewer Laurent Fendt:
You have been having very big experiences over forty years. What do you mean when you say we have a big power and we don't know about it?

Andreas:  The mind that you have is not what you think it is. And again, that is why the elites don’t want the masses to have information.  The elites depend on the masses to remain stupid. Henry Ford said that if the American people would really understand how the banks function, there would be a revolution by Monday morning.

And here I am, speaking like Henry Ford and I am speaking to all the French listeners right now.  Ladies and gentlemen, if you would understand how the French banks function you would have a revolution by ten o'clock tonight.  If you would understand how society functions, how it is being exploited  and vampirized, you would do something about it.

There are some people at the top of every society who siphon off the energy. They siphon off the money from the masses. The masses don't even understand it. Actually I feel that we are very close to a global revolution.

We are close to a global revolution because of the Internet and the smartphone. With a smartphone everyone has a television station in the pocket.  Your smartphone is an incredibly powerful tool of communication. You can film anything immediately and share it with the entire world on Youtube in minutes.

For example, the U.S.A has had police brutality for many years. That is nothing new.  When you give a man the power, when you give a man a gun, he will want to use it.  Police in the U.S.A has been infiltrated by a disturbingly large number of sociopaths who enjoy bringing suffering to people. They feel they have the power and they can do whatever they want.

Interviewer Laurent Fendt:
You say these people are part of the police?
A:  Yes. Specifically in America there is an enormous amount of police brutality. As said, that's not at all a new phenomenon. But the difference now is that the second something happens, there are five people with a smartphone filming it and and sending it to Youtube.  Within minutes millions of people around the world are aware what happened. This is causing an enormous global difference and it gives people the chance to respond. Before, they could not respond because they did not know or police covered up their own crimes successfully. There remains nothing to cover up with the videos witnessing on youtube. This combined power of the smartphone and the Internet in the hands of people will cause a global revolution you cannot even imagine right now.

What happens if all of a sudden 90 percent of French citizens become aware of everything that is wrong in this country?  I know French people.  You like a good revolution.  If you discover something is wrong you are going to do something.

So please stand up and say and do something. Please get educated.  What you received at school and university is not education. If you want education, you have to steal it.  Get educated about the power of your mind.  And learn also about mantras

Mantras are words of power.  You can sit at your house and sing a mantra and focus on a situation.  You can directly influence the situation.

The American military has understood the hidden powers of the mind.  There are many psychics in America working for the military.  For example, they do remote viewing. In Russia and China equally there are people who do remote viewing. They are spies.  They use the hidden powers of the mind.

Your mind has many great powers hidden.  You can achieve many things with your mind.

I am calling on all good people who are listening to me to wake up and become active. Work for something you believe in.  If you see something that is wrong, go into your house, sing a mantra and focus on it. There exists a very powerful mantra.  It is a Tibetan mantra which dissolves negative situations.  It is also on my youtube channel.  It's actually my most successful video on Youtube.  It has 35,000 hits.  I don't know how that happened.  I have 35,000 hits for the mantra that dissolves obstacles.  Maybe there exists a connection here.

So the mantra is: “OM AH HUM VAJRAKILI  KILAYA HUM PEY.”  Its very powerful and we will sing it for you.  If there is something wrong or an obstacle in your private life or in the vast collective that surrounds you, then you can use that mantra to dissolve the negative situation.

Here we go:  “OM AH HUM VAJRAKILI KILAYA HUM PEY”.

Laurent Fendt:
So what about mantras? What is a mantra, and what is this Tibetan mantra?  What is behind it?  You practice many techniques, so what do you think about it?
A:  Mantras represent a very, very powerful yoga.  It's called Mantra Yoga. And it has existed for a very long time. Mantras exist in every culture and in every religion actually.  And there exist different mantras for every situation you can think of. There are mantras to create certain things and there are mantras to dissolve certain things. Mantra means consists of two syllables. ”Tra” means liberation and “man” means man or also consciousness.

So mantra is that which liberates your consciousness, it liberates your life.  Mantra protects your life.  So we can say a mantra will basically improve the quality of your life and ultimately protect it.

And, as I was just saying before, we are experiencing a great movement toward critical mass on every level of society.  But I experience it also in the mantra work.  Our group is getting bigger and bigger.   It's also due to the radio show, I suppose.

What is happening is that more and more people are becoming open to things they wouldn't have open to yesterday.  Additionally we live in the age of the information revolution. Whereas 30 years ago information was just crawling, now we have the Internet and anyone can google and find out, “Ah, meditation has been subjected to science research”.

If you google the effects of meditation, you'll find a long list of scientifically proven positive effects of the practice of meditation.  Scientifically proven. They connect electrodes to your brain and they measure brain waves.  We can distinguish between brain waves that are stress brain waves and brain waves that are in relaxation and deep peace.  We can identify deep peace brain functioning.  And it has been scientifically proven that meditation will create deep peace brain waves.

And that's not all.  Deep meditation will also stimulate gamma brain waves. Gamma brainwaves are genius brainwaves. In other words, meditation heightens your intelligence. Your IQ will go up with the practice of meditation. That's amazing. All this is scientifically proven. That being the case, what are you waiting for?

Letter to a friend

Dear Friend,
Kindly allow me to share some reflections.

No matter where we are at, we continue to learn, grow, and unfold. This process never stops. Even if we have entered the journey of awakening, this process continues. If there are events of samadhi, or even the very rare event of Sustained Samadhi, even then we continue learning. The Universe gives us invitations and opportunities to learn.

In this way we stay humble. The necessity to reflect upon how we conduct ourselves continues. Every atom of our existence must become conscious. We are never above the need for reflection and possible self-correction. Even the greatest Masters look at their lives and consider if there are better ways.

These days Buddhism is very popular.  However,  the Buddha also did not like women. If you look closely at the Buddhist structures, it shows.

I like to think that awakening takes place in a process of evolution. Awakened beings stand on each other’s shoulders.  Therefore, awakening too becomes more refined and intelligent. It does no just repeat or replicate. It grows and evolves!

We can go back into the past and copy old ways of spirituality that in fact have proven to be limited and outdated. Or we can start a revolution today and embrace the spirituality of the future, which is a spirituality that activates the totality of our intelligence.

Intelligence is not just intellectual. It takes place on many levels and dimensions. There is emotional, psychological and sexual intelligence. There is intelligence that is artistic and psychic. There are many ways of activating intelligence that we cannot even imagine right now. The movie “Lucy” with Scarlett Johanson and Morgan Freeman explores this fascinating topic.
My choice of spirituality involves the activation of the totality of our latent intelligence. I cannot be content with anything less. This is my choice.

It is all of our choice. We can become 21st century bodhisattvas and create OUR OWN STYLE along the lines of the greatest, luminous intelligence possible. We can take the chance of risking to be who we truly are.  We can create a new way of being on this planet and a new spirituality.  Or we can just repeat the past. All religions and spiritual avenues of the past have not made humanity any better or more peaceful. It is up to us to choose a greater intelligence, a greater harmony and a greater compassion.

It is time for a new approach and a new way. We can make that choice today. Now.
